NAGA CITY, Camarines Sur (PIA) -- The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held an academic mastery webinar on March 16, Saturday, to provide more Bicolanos with education opportunities.

DOST Regional Director Rommel Serrano said that the primary objective of the virtual conference is to increase the number of scholars from the region, which currently stands at 1,926.

Serrano said the DOST is making an effort to encourage participants to become the next scientists, engineers, and innovators who will help build the nation.

The webinar, titled "Inspiring Youth Aspirant Scholars," aimed to motivate incoming college students to pursue a sustainable educational journey through the scholarship program.
