QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Heads up! The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced that MRT-3 stations near pick-up and drop-off points along the EDSA Bus Carousel will remain accessible this Holy Week.

According to the DOTr, the following MRT-3 stations will remain accessible to passengers: Quezon Avenue, Santolan, Ortigas, Guadalupe, and Buendia.

Operations of MRT-3 will be suspended from Maundy Thursday, March 28, until Easter Sunday, March 31, to give way for the rail line's annual Holy Week maintenance activities.

The public is advised to take alternative transportation, like the EDSA Bus Carousel this Holy Week.

MRT-3 will resume its normal operations on Monday, April 01, with the first train trips scheduled at 4:30 am from North Avenue Station, and 5:05 am from Taft Avenue Station. (DOTr/PIA-NCR)
