LAMUT, Ifugao(PIA) - - Five barangays of this municipality are the target beneficiaries of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) of the government for 2024 to deliver the needed services to the community.

These are barangays Bimpal, Nayon, Payawan, Salamague, and Hapid.  

The RCSP aims to address the issues identified by the communities themselves through the provision of government projects while ensuring sustainable development and promoting peace.

Lamut Mayor Victomar Bunnol advised the residents and officials of the five barangays to ensure that the identified needed programs and services in their respective barangays are the top most priority that will benefit the community.

The Provincial Task Force to End Local Armed Conflict, and the core teams recently conducted the “Serbisyo Caravan at Ugnayan sa Barangay”  in the identified barangays. were conducted in said places.

 Member agencies like the Department of Trade and Industry, the Technical Education and Skills Authority, the 54th  (Magilas) Infantry Battalion, the Philippine Statistics Authority, the Philippine Information Agency and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) presented their respective programs and services for the barangays to avail.

Representatives from the local government unit, municipal police station, and the municipal fire station oriented the participants on the implementation of local laws, peace and order, safety tips and other activities.

Queries on regulating boarding houses , senior citizens’ discounts, scholarships being offered by the government, information assistance to barangay officials and other related issues were responded to by concerned offices.

Bunnol informed that the implementation of the RCSP in the municipality is the product of the good working relationship of the LGU, and the national government particularly the DILG. (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
