50 IPs benefit from PNP outreach program

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - At least 50 Indigenous Peoples (IPs) from a remote community in San Vicente, San Pablo, Isabela were benefited from the joint Police Regional Office and Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) led community outreach program.

The outreach program was in support of the Women’s Month celebration and as a contribution of the organizations to the objectives of the National Task Force to end Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

Among the services and assistances delivered to the IPs were pangkabuhayan package, distribution of dishwashing liquids, rice and grocery items, feeding activity, distribution of slippers, free check medical check up. and other services.

The group also planted 50 assorted seedlings in the said place.

San Vicente Barangay Chairperson Analiza Viernes expressed her thanks to the police and other partners who brought the services and assistances to the IPs in her barangay acknowledging that the services and assistance are beneficial to the daily lives of the vulnerable sectors in their community.

“We deeply express our thanks to the police and other organizations for bringing their services and assistances to our IPs in the barangay,” Viernes said.
