LnB President Dy expressed her thanks to all LnB chapter presidents in the country for the support, trust and confidence in electing her as the new leader of the organization.
“I want to thank all those who supported me and prayed for this elction. This victory is not just for me, but for the whole province of Isabela,” Dy said.
She said the goal of the LnB is to empower the organization and connect with the 42,000 barangays across the entire country as she now plans to be a bridge projects of national and local governments and other government agencies in the country.
“We are trying to empower the liga and connect the 42,000 barangays in the Philippines. The plan is to be the bridge the barangays to all projects of national and local governments,” Dy said.
Dy also said she wants to protect of women and children in every barangay, championing and citing the Echague Mengal Women Organization’s goals and objectives.
“One of the main things that I want to implement sa mga barangay ay yung advocacy natin for women and children’s protection. Yan po ang ilang taon ko nang ipinaglalaban. Mahigit 12,000 na ang active women members ng organization at meron po tayong women center that provides free services for abused women and children. It caters to the whole Region 2,” Dy said.
