PASIL,Kalinga(PIA)--The Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) continues with its mission to tackle the root cause of local insurgency through the ‘Whole-of-Nation’ approach with a convergence event in a remote barangay in Pasil on March 20, 2024.

Led by Gov. James S. Edduba, the PTF-ELCAC chairperson, and Department of the Interior and Local Government-Kalinga provincial director Anthony Manolo Ballug, the task force held a community consultation in Barangay Galdang where they heard firsthand from the officials and residents their most urgent development needs.

“Idi nag-mayorak dituy Pasil, gapu ti kinabassit ti pondo, nagpatingga diay mabalin ku maaramid. Ngem tatta, gapu ta involved daytuy national government, at least dagiyay tagtagainep tayo wennu anya man dagiyay priority, uray lang kuma diay first ten nga priority yu dituy ket mabalin nga masolbar iti panagtitinnulung tayo,” Edduba said.

Also offering their services and programs to Galdang are  the Office of Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, the Department Trade and Industry, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, the Department of Health, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the National Irrigation Administration, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Philippine National Police, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other offices.
