DAVRAA participants to enjoy special discounts, packages

DAVAO CITY (PIA) -- Various tourism establishments in Davao City under the auspices of the Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) have launched special packages for Davao Region Athletic Association (DAVRAA) 2024 delegates.

This was announced by CTOO officer-in-charge Jennifer Ricardo Romero who bared that DAVRAA participants can present their official IDs to partner establishments to avail of the discounts. 

These establishments include Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Malagos Garden Resort, Microtel by Wyndham Davao, Homecrest Hotel, Park Avenue Residence Inn and Suites, Green Windows Dormitel, Discovery Samal, and Villa Amparo Garden Beach Resort.

DAVRAA participants can also purchase Madayaw Privilege cards of the Davao Tourism Association (DATA) which gives cardholders discounts to various restaurants, hotels, retail establishments and other tourism-related services in the city.

Apart from these partner establishments, delegates can also purchase Madayaw Privilege Cards of the Davao Tourism Association (DATA) which costs P350. With the card the delegates can avail of discounts and special offers from the card’s 30 participating dining, retail, hotel, and tourism services establishments.

Davao City is expecting around 7,000 athletes, officials, and delegates for the DAVRAA 2024 held across different sporting venues in Davao City. The event started on April 1 and will culminate on April 7.


Medal Tally

As of April 3, 10 a.m., Davao City is on top with 45 medals (16 golds, 16 silvers and 13 bronze medals). They are followed by the delegation from Davao del Norte which has 23 medals (9 golds, 6 silvers, 8 bronzes), Tagum City has 14 medals (6 golds, 6 silvers and two bronze medals)

Samal City has three gold medals and one silver; Davao Oriental has two gold medals and two silvers; Davao del Sur and Panabo City have two gold medals, one silver, and three bronzes. While Digos City has one gold medal, four silvers, and one bronze.
