TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) – On its road to modernization, the Philippine Coast Guard– District North Eastern Luzon (PCG-DNELZ) has now its state-of-the-art vessel which has a multi-role.
Capt. Ludovico Librilla, District Commander of PCG – DNELZ, said this is a 44-meter state-of-the-art vessel, the third to be acquired by PCG in the country, can do a multi-role from search and rescue operations, maritime patrol especially patrol missions along Philippine Rise, and can render other services during disaster response, among others.

Librilla said the MRRV-4403 is manned by highly competent team of PCG officers, adding that vessel is also on on-call basis to areas where its services are needed to maximize its presence and capabilities.
“We are happy to have all these equipment as part of our modernization program and we are looking forward for another two vessels until the end of the year,” the commander said.
During the PCG's TV/Radio Guesting at the Tipon-Tipan sa PIA where they share to media partners their role in maritime security.
Meanwhile, Librilla thanked the support and cooperation of local government units and partner agencies in the establishment of their sub-stations in coastal towns which are responsible in the provision of the necessary augmentation and support in terms of safeguarding North Eastern Luzon’s territory.
