The 41-bed ward features dedicated sections for adolescent care, isolation, newborns, pediatric intensive care, emergencies, outpatients, NICU, private rooms, respiratory care, surgery, and a nursery.

"This expansion allows ITRMC to provide more specialized and dedicated care for infants and children in the region," said Director Sydiongco.

"The new facility will ensure optimal healthcare and safeguard the lives of infants during critical development stages, while also providing advanced treatment for pediatric patients," she added.

The state-of-the-art ward is equipped with modern equipment and staffed by pediatric intensive care specialists to deliver high-quality treatment and management for children in the Ilocos Region.
