DOLE 6 invites employers to participate in Labor Day job fair

ILOILO CITY (PIA) - - Establishment owners and employers are invited to participate and register their job vacancies as the Department of Labor and Employment Region 6 (DOLE 6) gears up for its annual Labor Day job fair.

The employer’s registration will offer a wide range of opportunities for jobseekers ahead of the 122nd Labor Day Regional Job Fair on May 1, 2024 to be held in different areas in the region.

Specifically, the job fair will be held in Northwestern Visayas Colleges Gym, Capitol Site in Kalibo, Aklan for the province of Aklan; Robinsons Antique for the province of Antique, Robinsons Roxas for the province of Capiz; Buenavista Gymnasium for the province of Guimaras; Robinson’s Place Iloilo for the province of Iloilo; and SM City Bacolod for the province of Negros Occidental.

According to DOLE 6 the early registration will also allow productive and competitive job applicants to access on job vacancies offered.

Regional Director Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez, Jr. underscored that employers’ registration is beneficial both to the workers and to the employers.

He said the applicants could have more time browsing for vacancies that suit their qualifications and will also guarantee the quality of aspiring workers for the job.

Through the registration, jobseekers will also be assisted of the location of the companies they are applying with.
