DIADI, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) — The local government of Diadi in Nueva Vizcaya has completed the P34 million 50-bed Ward Building at this town’s Emergency Hospital.

Dr. Anthony Cortez, Provincial Health Officer said the newly-completed 50-bed Ward Building will boost the services of the Diadi Emergency Hospital which started with only a 10-bed capacity.

The Department of Health initially funded the hospital’s construction with P3 million for its phase 1 implementation while the provincial government funded the construction of its subsequent components.

Mayor Sandy Gayaton said the realization of the facility had been a long-awaited dream for the villagers of Diadi.

“With the completion of this new two-story ward building, we are taking a significant stride towards providing exceptional healthcare services not only to the residents of Diadi but also to the neighboring communities of Cordon, Isabela, and Ifugao province,” he said.

The inauguration of the hospital 50-bed ward building was attended by former Gov. Ruth  Padilla, Mayor Gayaton, Dr.  Cortez, health and hospital officials and workers, and Provincial Engineer Jerry  Tan, among others. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
