CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – Ninety (90) members of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) from Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, have gathered for a training workshop on the budgeting process.

The event, which spans from April 17 to 19, is being hosted at the Eurotel Hotel in North Edsa, Quezon City.

This educational initiative is spearheaded by the Mimaropa League of Local Budget Officers, Inc. (MiLLBO) in collaboration with the Department of Budget and Management.

The workshop aims to empower the young leaders by equipping them with essential knowledge and skills in budget planning and management, crucial for the effective administration of their respective communities.

The training covers a comprehensive range of topics, including the fundamentals of budget preparation, financial analysis, and the legal framework governing local budgeting.

Participants are engaged through a series of lectures, interactive sessions, and practical exercises designed to simulate real-life budgeting scenarios.
