Pasig City to implement modified work schedule starting May 2

PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- Beginning May 2, 2024, the City Government of Pasig will implement its Modified Work Schedule.

The modified work schedule is in accordance with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Resolution No. 24-08, s. 2024, approved to be implemented in the City of Pasig through Executive Order PCG. No. 12, s. 2024.

According to the city government, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 90 percent of personnel are required in each office.

While 10 percent of personnel are required to report from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is to ensure continuity of services to the public.

Meanwhile, the work schedules of some personnel, especially those on shifting schedules (traffic management, emergency preparedness and response, and peace and order) will remain.

The Metro Manila Council (MMC) composed of the 17 mayors of NCR, recently issued a resolution urging national government agencies in NCR to adopt the new schedule, which starts at 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., aims to mitigate traffic in the metropolis during rush hour. (Pasig City/PIA-NCR)
