Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair Caravan set on April 21-22 in Benguet

Benguet Congressman Eric Go Yap, the host of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair Caravan in Benguet, invites everyone to be part of the service caravan on April 21 and 22 at the Benguet State University in La Trinidad.

LA TRINDAD, Benguet(PIA) -- Residents of Benguet and neighboring  communities are invited  to avail of the different programs and services during the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair caravan  on April 21-22 at the Benguet State University in La Trinidad.

Benguet Congressman Eric Go Yap said the two-day event brings government services closer to the people of Benguet marking a significant initiative under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s administration.

He said the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair(BPSF) stands as the country's largest service caravan, dedicated to delivering major government services to underprivileged Filipinos across diverse communities nationwide.

“Good news, we are hosting a historic event in Benguet! First province tayo na napili sa Cordillera to host the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair this coming April 21 to 22, and only the 15th nationwide. It will be a massive event with over 50 agencies na magpaparticipate,” said Yap.

More than  300 services on health, livelihood, agriculture, education, social services, regulatory, and other  services will be provided by 70 government agencies  in different venues at BSU for the two days.

“There will be payouts of cash assistance for pre-identified beneficiaries na binaba natin sa ground ang identification. There will be government services, may food, may mga raffle items sa mga mag-avail ng services,” Yap said.

For the first time in the BPSF, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) installation will be available for free. Just pay the minimum load of P500 per sticker. This will be done  with the support of the North Luzon Expressway.

Several surprises will  also be up for grabs for those who will avail of the different services.

There will also be  a Pasasalamat concert on April 21 with performances by Cordillera nightingale Ingrid Payaket  and special guests Bamboo, Darren Espanto, Rocksteddy, and ILT Band.

“I thank our President Bongbong Marcos and our Speaker Martin Romualdez for helping me bring this to Benguet. Handpicked tayo, and we said we've been lobbying for this kaya we said yes agad to host this event. It will be a convergence of all government services in one venue, tens of thousands ang makikinabang throughout the province. It is consistent sa advocacy natin na pinaparamdam ang serbisyo sa tao kahit na nasa malalayo. This is big!” Yap said.

“We are inviting everyone to mark their calendars, April 21-22 in BSU. I'm confident there will be something for everybody. Meron at merong serbisyong mapapakinabangan na makikita,’ the lawmaker said.

Yap added with its emphasis on service, inclusivity, and empowerment, the BPSF promises to be a transformative experience for all who attend.(RMC-PIA CAR)
