Nuyda highlighted that the initiatives, funded with P1.8 million each, serve as vital links for communities, promoting economic growth and amplifying tourism potential across Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, DILG Provincial Director Belina Herman underscored that the newly constructed roads will significantly benefit the community with improved accessibility.
“The Alapat Road at Barangay Banawang in Bagac has a length of 119.5 meters and width of five meters while the concreted road at Barangay Palihan in Hermosa has a length of 139.80 meters and width of five meters,” Herman added.
She commended the LGUs for their achievement and urged them to continuously work hard for the benefit of Bataeños.
Formerly known as the Performance Challenge Fund, SGLGIF is an incentive given in the form of a financial grant to eligible LGUs under the Local Governance Performance Management Program. (CLJD/RPQ-PIA 3)
