DOLE-NCR will lead the said job fair in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of various Local Government Units (LGUs), Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

According to DOLE-NCR Regional Director, Atty. Sarah Buena S. Mirasol, the Labor Day Job Fair will be open for everyone to bring jobs to Filipinos.

Aside from the job fair, some government agencies will also have a one-stop-shop service, including the Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Manila Police Department.

Moreover, TESDA will also set up an advisory and information desk at all job fair sites and skills demonstration at selected venues, including SM MOA Music Hall, Quezon City Hall Quadrangle, San Andres Sports Complex, and Parañaque Social Hall and Sports Complex.

DOLE expects that by carrying out this activity, the unemployment rate in the region will be reduced in the current year, as well as strengthen the labor sector.
