DPWH completes safer, secured road network in Abra de Ilog

SAN JOSE, Occidental Mindoro (PIA) -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Mimaropa region recently completed the reconstruction of the Mindoro West Coastal Road, which will benefit the residents in Barangay Armado in the municipality of Abra de Ilog.

In a report by district engineer Joselito A. Antonio, the road project aims to improve the poor condition of the damaged paved road.

Antonio added that this reconstructed road will also provide a safer, more convenient, and more efficient road for the traveling public in support of the economic and sustainable development of the province.

DPWH said that the project has a total length of 1.006 kilometers which also involves the installation of solar pavement studs to ensure the safety and security of the residents and motorists at night. (DFSG/PIA MIMAROPA – Occidental Mindoro)
