BAGUIO CITY (PIA) - - Jobs fairs, KADIWA ng Pangulo, and distribution of livelihood assistance will highlight the celebration of the 122nd Labor Day on May 1 spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment.
The DOLE Cordillera with the Baguio City Public Employment Service Office, and other partner agencies and private institutions will lead a jobs fair at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center, and SM City Baguio.
As of April 23 data, 47 local employers will offer a total of 3,145 job vacancies in the two jobs fair venues.
There will also be a One – Stop Shop for government services particularly by the Philippine Statistics Authority, National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Trade and Industry, PhilHealth, Social Security System, PAGIBIG, Bureau of Internal Revenue, PHILPOST, Department of Foreign Affairs, Professional Regulations Commission, National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, Employees Compensation Commission, and Occupational Safety and Health Center.
