TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA) -- Ang mga local government unit (LGU) sa probinsya ang manguna sa pagpatuman sa normalization program para sa mga decommissioned Moro Islamic Liberation Front combatants sa mga lungsod sa Munai, Tangcal ug Tagoloan.
Kini human nagpirmahay og Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) ug provincial government sa Lanao del Norte aron ipatuman ang "Localizing Normalization Implementation" (LNI) program.
Tumong niini nga mapalambo ang kinabuhi sa MILF decomissioned combatants, ilang pamilya ug komunidad pinaagi sa security enhancement, socio-economic growth, livelihood enhancement, political participation, confidence-building measures, at transitional justice and reconciliation.
Sumala ni OPAPRU Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr., siguraduhon sa gobyerno nga walay mabyaan sa pagpatuman sa maong programa. Maong magtinabangay ang national government, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), provincial, ug municipal government alang sa pag-implementar sa maong programa.
“Yun talaga ang gusto natin sa national government that it will be inclusive and no one will be left behind. Makikita natin the program that we are giving are for the combatants, families, and communities. It is holistic. By municipalities, barangays, and by province, lahat ng member ng committee will be given appropriate programs," sumala niya.
Matod sab ni Ariel Hernandez, chairperson sa Government of the Philippines-Joint Normalization Committee, ang LGU maoy manguna sa pag-implementar sa programa.
Sumala niya, moabot na sa 26,132 ang decommissioned combatants sa MILF ug 1,190 niini gikan sa Lanao del Norte.
Malipayon sab si Gov. Imelda “Angging” Quibranza Dimaporo sa maong programa. “Finally ito na nga.. We are now together for a more peaceful province that all the children yung lahat ng anak natin will benefit. I am really overwhelmed na nangyari na ito. I know this is going to be the start, ang tunay na pagsasama, where the people of Lanao del Norte will be united - the Muslims and Christians,” sumala niya.
Mapasalamaton sab si Bangsamoro Transition Authority Member of Parliament Abdullah "Bravo" Macapaar, kon commander sa MILF Northwestern Mindanao Front. Matod niya, abli ang ilang komunidad sa bisag unsnag tabang na ihatag kanila. Komitado sab sya sa pagmaintenar sa kahusay ug kalinaw.
Subay sa pagpirma sa MOA, gipahigayon sab ang pinakaunang meeting kauban ang nagkadaiyang ahensiya ng gobyerno aron pagplanohan ang pagpatuman sa lain-laing programa para sa mga decomissioned MILF combatans ug sa kanilang komunidad. (LELA,PIA Region 10-Lanao del Norte)
