BAGUIO CITY (PIA) -- Following the highly successful Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association Meet 2024, the province of Apayao is again hosting the regional sporting event in the tertiary level.
More than 2,000 athletes, coaches, and officials representing the seven state universities and colleges in the region converge in Luna, Apayao from April 29 to May 3 for the 2024 Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) athletic meet.
Apayao State College (ASC), the host school, will be competing against six other member-SUCs from the region namely, Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology, University of the Philippines -Baguio, Benguet State University , Ifugao State University, Kalinga State University, and the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College.
This year's CARASUC carries the theme "Bidlisiw: Paghilom, Pagbangon at Pagsulong."
