QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- An integrated government center will soon rise in the city of Caloocan to enable residents to have easier and faster access to the programs and services of the local government.

The infrastructure project, dubbed as the Caloocan Government Center, is designed to serve as a one-stop shop to simplify the transactions between the local government and residents.

In addition, this initiative will help in eliminating the instances of bureaucratic red tape pursuant to the implementation of Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Law.

(To establish a more efficient service delivery for residents, we are building the eight-storey Caloocan Government Center which will allocate spaces for the different offices under the local and national government.)

[This (project) will pave the way for a faster  (transaction) process as well as improved access to the government for relevant information, concerns, and suggestions.]

The eight-storey Caloocan Government Center will be situated at 8th Avenue East between 9th Street and 8th Avenue Extension in Barangay 101.

On Wednesday, May 8, the local government of Caloocan simultaneously held a groundbreaking ceremony for three different construction works in Barangays 167 (Sagrado and Villa Reform 3) and 176 (Phase 8, Package 9 Melpitas Court).

These infrastructure projects will take the form of multipurpose buildings to cater to the various needs of communities, particularly in terms of facilities for collective activities and events.

(I hope, as the Mayor, that these infrastructures will be used for the different activities aimed at fostering connection and social interaction among the youth.) (JMP/PIA-NCR)
