First Lady Liza Marcos brings LAB for All Caravan to Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY (PIA) – Zamboanga City welcomed First Lady Atty. Marie Louise "Liza" Marcos on Thursday morning as she spearheaded the LAB For All caravan or Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para Sa Lahat at the Western Mindanao State University gymnasium. This initiative reflects the administration's commitment to making essential government programs and services accessible to the people.

The Lab For All caravan, which commenced on May 5 and will continue until May 11, not only provided crucial medical services but also showcased programs and services from government agencies and private stakeholders.
 
During the first four days of the caravan more than ten thousand residents of Zamboanga City received the medical and dental services including free legal consultations. First Lady Marcos expressed gratitude to all the medical doctors and staff for the commitment to extend help to the people, “we want to bring the services closer to the people,” she added.

Mayor John Dalipe, alongside Majority Leader and District II Congressman Mannix Dalipe, District I Representative Khymer Olaso, and other city officials, extended a warm welcome to the First Lady.

They expressed deep gratitude for bringing the caravan to Zamboanga, benefiting thousands of residents in need, “it is our pleasure to welcome the first lady of the Republic of the Philippines for the first time in Zamboanga City,” Majority Leader Dalipe said.

LAB FOR ALL envisions a future where everyone can contribute to bringing healthcare directly to those who need it most. Through its various services, the program hopes to bridge geographical divides and foster collaboration between public and private sector to make quality medical care accessible for all Filipinos.
