TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)-- Coinciding with their first flag-raising ceremony of 2024, the Lanao del Norte Provincial Police Office (LDN PPO) celebrated its 30th Ethics Day by recognizing the meaningful contributions and achievements of Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel and stakeholders.

According to this year's theme, "Serbisyong may Pagkakaisa, Integridad, at Kasanayan tungo sa Mapayapa at Maunlad na Pamayan," the aforementioned event under the direction of Provincial Director of Police Colonel Sandy Vales highlighted the police force's unwavering commitment to fulfill their duties with diligence, professionalism, and integrity, contributing to the development of a more prosperous and peaceful community with the full support of the stakeholders.

On behalf of Governor Imelda 'Angging' Quibranza-Dimaporo, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member and Committee Chairperson on Culture, Arts, and Interfaith Marivic Ramos attended the said event to also show support and appreciation to the PPO in their dedication to extending their services to the Provincial Interfaith Council (PIC) of Lanao del Norte, Inc. through the "Igsoon ko, Tulubagon ko" program.

"The success of the programs of the Interfaith Council hinges on the support of our stakeholders, such as the Philippine National Police. We are grateful to the PNP, and specifically to Provincial Director, Police Colonel Sandy S. Vales, for supporting our agreement to provide manpower to help in building and renovating dilapidated homes for our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the province," Ramos said.

To constantly remind and reinforce the adherence of PNP personnel to the ethical doctrine, which contains moral values, discipline, and professional and morally upright policemen, and all the more boost their morale, some 17 personnel were given recognition and awarded with certificates during the ceremony.

The LDN-PPO, along with its officials and the PIC, also inked a memorandum of agreement to formally seal their partnership.

"This partnership demonstrates that our policemen are not only equipped to maintain peace and order but are also committed to helping repair homes and improve the lives of those in need," Ramos added. (PIO-LDN/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
