CAMIGUIN (PIA) -- The Provincial Government of Camiguin is one of the country's 60 delegates to the 2024 Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin Convention, widely recognized as one of the world’s largest tourism trade fairs and leading international travel trade shows.

At the Berlin Exhibition Grounds on March 5–7, the provincial government showcased Camiguin's major attractions, rich cultural and traditional tapestry, and friendly, welcoming atmosphere to clients and audiences from across the world.

Provincial Tourism Officer Candice B. Dael emphasized the importance of joining international travel expositions in boosting the volume of tourism business in the province and the country.

“The ITB is expected to welcome about 24,000 attendees across the globe. This provides a unique opportunity for tourism-related businesses and increases tourism numbers and revenues in the province, " Dael said.

By joining domestic and international travel expos, Camiguin can establish maximum exposure by reaching a wider international audience, which can help advance the growth and expansion of tourism in the province.
