123rd MILF Base Command receives free-range chicken, duckery project support from PGLDN

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA) -- The provincial government of Lanao del Norte (PGLDN), through its Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO), turned over a free-range chicken and backyard duckery project to farmers in the 123rd Base Command, a Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) community located in Tagoloan town.

Through the directive of Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo, the said initiative, funded under the 5 percent gender and development of the provincial government, aims to provide alternative livelihood activities among the community members.

The farmers received a total of 300 heads of chickens and 500 ducks, along with essential feeds and vitamins necessary for breeding. This substantial support is poised to bolster their economic prospects and enhance food security within the community.
