OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA) -- The Misamis Occidental Provincial Government is implementing a multifaceted strategy to foster an environment conducive to academic success for children who have faced traumatic experiences.

The Provincial Government's initiative covers multiple provisions to meet the diverse needs of abuse survivors. Educational support is prioritized, offering essential tools like daily allowances, computers, and mentoring.

Additionally, the government supplies school necessities such as bags, shoes, P.E., and school uniforms, alongside funding for school projects and other requirements, promoting a sense of belonging and equality among students.

Misamis Occidental Provincial Governor Henry S. Oaminal expressed pride in this and reaffirmed the provincial government's commitment to supporting the journey of abuse survivors toward academic excellence.
