Admin accomplished a lot through unity, open, engaging approach — PBBM

MANILA -- The administration has accomplished a lot in less than two years in office as a result of unity and its open and engaging approach, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said on Wednesday.

“Now, if you look at it, we have not yet been in office for two years but in that small time, napakarami na nating nagawa, napakarami na nating naumpisahan,” the President said during the oathtaking of the new members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) at the Diamond Hotel in Manila.

“And the reason is that because we have been working together, we have been following the same plan, we have come together, nakipag-ugnayan tayo; ‘Ano bang problema doon sa inyong region, sa iyong probinsya, sa iyong bayan,’ at pinakinggan natin silang lahat hindi lamang ‘yung mga political leader, kung di pati na ang taong bayan, at makinig tayo.”

The administration and its partners working in unison created good result, the President said, as he called on the PFP members to continue strengthening the party.

Marcos expressed hope that the people will support the PFP in next year’s election because “maliwanag na maliwanag na ang taong-bayan dito sa Pilipinas ay talagang sinasabi maganda itong ginagawa natin na sabay-sabay tayong tumutulong.”

That is why the administration is trying to engage all other different political factions to adopt PFP’s advocacy—an advocacy that is for economic development and for people’s welfare.

Aside from building the economy, the administration also fights for the country’s sovereignty in the international scene, which is well received by the people and political leaders.

Wednesday’s event was part of the PFP’s initial moves as it reorganizes its lineup for the upcoming elections next year.

Formed in 2018, the PFP is a national political party in the Philippines chaired by President Marcos.

The PFP, Lakas-CMD, Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), and Partido ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), and guest candidates from other parties comprised the UniTeam Alliance in the run-up to the 2022 national polls.
