The initiative was officially launched at the Quirino Grandstand on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Galvez, a key figure in promoting peace from the national government, urged all Filipinos to unite and rally behind the Bagong Pilipinas campaign, emphasizing that the initiative aims to foster greater peace, progress, and unity throughout the nation.

"I urge my fellow Filipinos to fully support the national government’s Bagong Pilipinas campaign. This is a multi-sectoral effort that seeks to bring all of us together as one nation regardless of ethnicity, religion, economic status, or personal beliefs," Galvez said.

Highlighting the significance of Bagong Pilipinas, Galvez stressed that it serves as a powerful reminder to all government workers to fulfill their duties with utmost dedication, ensuring that Filipinos receive the services they rightfully deserve.

"Services must be fast, projects must be completed on time. Deadlines must be met per schedule, distress calls must be responded to without delay," Galvez added, echoing the statements of the President.

Galvez reiterated the President's guidance, emphasizing that government workers should not compromise in any way in the performance of their duties, always keeping in mind that they are there to serve the Filipino people who deserve only the best.

"As civil servants, the President is reminding us that we must not compromise in any way in the performance of our duties. We have to always bear in mind that we are here to serve the Filipino people. They deserve nothing less," Galvez emphasized.

Moreover, Galvez highlighted that the Bagong Pilipinas campaign extends to the comprehensive Philippine peace process, urging Filipinos to set aside personal differences and collaborate for the common good.

"Bagong Pilipinas beckons us to let go of our biases and become instruments of peace, mutual understanding, and solidarity. It is this common vision of genuine peace and sustainable development that will enable us to move forward as a nation," he added.
