Super Health Center to rise in Tagoloan town

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA) — Residents of Tagoloan town in Misamis Oriental and nearby municipalities will soon benefit from enhanced healthcare services with the upcoming Super Health Center in Barangay Sta. Ana.

A groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony was held on April 12, spearheaded by Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health.

According to the senator, the Super Health Center is a significant addition to Misamis Oriental's healthcare infrastructure, serving as a semi-hospital larger than the typical Rural Health Unit.

The center is equipped with essential facilities including a birthing facility, isolation room, pharmacy, and ambulatory surgical unit. The total project cost amounts to P7,961,399.36.

Present during the groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony were officials from the Department of Health, Center of Health Development - Northern Mindanao Assistant Regional Director Ellenietta HMV N. Gamolo, officials of Tagoloan led by Mayor Nadya Emano-Elipe, and various local leaders.

Ana, ang mga taga-Mohon, kung layuan man gali sila sa St. Paul, pwede na sila muanhi dinhi sa atung Super Health Center para sa ilang serbisyong panglawas nga ilahang kinahanglan (This Super Health Center is like a mini-hospital. Hence, residents coming from Sta. Cruz, Sta. Ana, Mohon and the like can opt to visit the Super Health Center, if they find St. Paul Hospital very far. They can avail health services from the Super Health Center),” the mayor stated.

Before the Super Health Center site visit, Senator Go launched various health-related programs in Medina town, Gingoog City, and Villanueva.
