The deal also expected the full operation of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Local Mental Health Ordinance, establishment of a half-way home for individuals undergoing mental health crises, and institutionalization of province-wide suicide prevention and youth development programs.
According to the provincial government, a Secretariat will be designated to work closely with ULF and assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of supported projects.
Further, the province will intensify its information and dissemination activities and ensure maximum participation in ULF programs.
Also present in the MOU signing were Unilab officials including Center Health Policy Director John Basa and Programs Director Joan Urieta.
